Classes and Builds Guide for a Balanced Server

MU Diamont is a balanced server: the idea is that different classes and builds stay competitive and that winning depends more on how you play than on picking "the class of the moment". This guide helps you choose yours.

How to choose your class

Before looking at numbers, think about how you want to play:

  • Ranged or area damage: magic or bow classes.
  • Melee combat: warrior classes with plenty of durability.
  • Group support: classes with buffs and healing.
  • Hybrids: classes that mix physical and magic attacks.

Besides the basic Season 3 classes, the server includes Magic Gladiator and Dark Lord, which have creation requirements and their own level ranges in events. [FINAL CLASS LIST and exact requirements to create MG and DL]

The key stats

In MU Online you spread points across Strength, Agility, Vitality and Energy (plus Command for the class that uses it). As a rule of thumb:

  • Strength: physical damage and requirements for heavy weapons and armor.
  • Agility: defense, attack speed and accuracy.
  • Vitality: health, which decides how much you can take.
  • Energy: magic damage and mana.

Builds for your playstyle

PvM build (leveling and farming)

Go for damage with just enough durability to level without dying. It is the best choice for your first levels and to prepare your reset at level 400.

PvP build

Here health, defense and combat control matter more. A good balance between offense and survival usually beats an extreme build.

Build for events and Castle Siege

In events like Blood Castle, Chaos Castle and Devil Square both damage and durability matter. In Castle Siege, teamwork and group roles make the difference. Check the times in the event calendar.

A tip to get started

Since points are wiped on reset, do not be afraid to experiment: every cycle is a chance to adjust your build. Questions? Ask in our community or check the FAQ.
