Getting started

How Resets and Points Work in MU Diamont

The reset is the mechanic that lets you keep progressing once your character has reached the required level. In MU Diamont (Season 3, 100x dynamic EXP) it follows these rules.

Reset rules in MU Diamont

  • Required level: 400.
  • On reset: the points you had assigned are wiped.
  • Reward: you receive 1000 points per reset.
  • Maximum points: 32767.
  • The points you receive grow with your reset count: 1000 points × your number of resets.
  • The 32767 cap applies to each stat (Strength, Agility, Vitality, Energy and Command).
  • On reset your level goes back to 1 and the character returns to its home map.
  • Each reset costs Zen: 10,000,000 × the reset number.
  • The maximum is 50 resets.
  • It is done with the /reset command (see the commands guide).

What happens to your points when you reset

Since points are wiped on reset, you will assign them again after every reset. This lets you rethink your build in each cycle, which is handy if you want to try a different approach.

Making the most of the 1000 points per reset

  • Decide before resetting whether you will focus on PvM, PvP or events.
  • Prioritize your class key stats (see the classes and builds guide).
  • Keep the 32767 point cap in mind when planning long term.
